SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Get Involved
Up & At Em Community Initiative is always looking for individuals, organizations, and local partners who want to make a direct impact in the lives of people facing homelessness, addiction recovery challenges, and housing instability across Boston and surrounding Massachusetts communities.
Getting involved means becoming part of a hands-on effort to connect people to real, immediate support. This can include helping with outreach, assisting with resource navigation, supporting events, contributing professional skills, or partnering to expand access to housing, recovery, healthcare, and basic needs services.
Every role—whether formal or informal—helps strengthen the support network that people rely on during critical moments in their lives.
We welcome volunteers, peer mentors, advocates, service providers, and community members who are committed to dignity, accountability, and practical action. No matter your background, there are meaningful ways to contribute, whether through direct engagement with individuals, behind-the-scenes coordination, or helping expand awareness and resources within the community.
By getting involved, you are helping build a stronger system of care that responds quickly, treats people with respect, and creates pathways toward stability and recovery. This work is grounded in real-world support, lived experience, and collaboration with local organizations dedicated to making a difference.
If you are interested in volunteering, partnering, or contributing in any way, we encourage you to reach out and connect with our team. Together, we can expand access, close gaps in services, and ensure more people receive the help they need when they need it most.

Make a Monetary Donation
Your donation helps Up & At Em Community Initiative continue providing direct support to individuals facing homelessness, addiction recovery challenges, and urgent life instability across Boston and surrounding Massachusetts communities.
Every contribution goes toward connecting people to critical resources such as emergency shelter access, recovery programs, transportation assistance, hygiene supplies, outreach support, and ongoing peer mentorship.
Donations also help us expand outreach efforts and strengthen partnerships with local service providers so we can respond faster and reach more individuals in need.
This work is community-driven and relies on support from people who believe in giving others a real chance at stability, recovery, and a better future. Whether large or small, every donation makes a direct impact on someone’s ability to get connected, stay supported, and move forward.
